Updated By-laws and Structure Change
SWANA governance changes were effective July 1, 2019. The Executive Committee and International Board were replaced with a Board of Directors (BOD) including thirteen Regional Directors. Those changes also created an Advisory Board (AB).
As a result, the Land of Lincoln Chapter is now a part of the new Region 9 which is comprised of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin. Members at large in Michigan are working to create a new Chapter which will also be included in Region 9 when certified. To view the signed MOU click here. This MOU has been signed by current Region 9 Chapter Presidents.
Also included is a copy of Land of Lincoln By-Laws containing new language to reflect changes in SWANA governance. This document has been reviewed by the Land of Lincoln Board and the SWANA National attorney. The proposed amended By-laws are presented to membership to be approved at the annual meeting on September 26.
