NEW SWANA Illinois Chapter RCon Scholarships
The SWANA Land of Lincoln Chapter is pleased to announce that the Chapter is offering five full conference registration scholarships & up to $1,000 in travel/lodging expense to attend SWANA’s RCon conference this fall. These scholarship opportunities are available to all SWANA Illinois Land of Lincoln chapter members. Completed Scholarship applications must be submitted via email by July 8, 2026, to [email protected]. RCon Conference Information:
SWANA is excited to hold their second annual RCon Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, offering attendees many opportunities to learn about local and national waste and resource management projects and a blended learning experience with technical training, roundtable discussions, keynote and concurrent sessions, and unique networking to achieve your professional goals.

SWANA National Scholarships
The application window for SWANA National's 2026 scholarships closed on May 4, 2026. This page will be updated when information about next year's scholarships becomes available.
Scholarships are offered to both graduate and undergraduate students in fields related to solid waste management, including engineering and environmental science. Please note that to be eligible, students either need to be related to a SWANA member or to be a SWANA Student member. However, student membership is free to full-time students. Check it out here!
